What is the procedure for placing an order on Niuo?
Ordering on Niuo is simple and fast. Our platform is designed to accommodate everything from rapid prototyping needs to structured industrial production.
You can choose between two operating modes:
Instant Automatic Quoting
(Available for MJF and FDM 3D printing, and Thermoformed products)
Upload your 3D file directly to the platform, then select your material, finish, quantity, and delivery lead times. The system will generate a custom quote in real-time. Once confirmed, you can complete your order in just a few clicks and monitor its progress directly from your personal dashboard.
Request for Quotation (RFQ)
For the following services, the RFQ mode is active to provide a personalized technical evaluation:
- CNC machining
- Welded assemblies
- Sheet metal processing
- Injection molding
Simply upload your project files and specify materials, quantities, finishes, and technical requirements. Our team will analyze your request and send a detailed, tailor-made quotation shortly.
How to get an instant quote on the platform?
Obtaining a quote on Niuo is a fast and entirely digital process. Follow these steps to generate an instant online quotation:
1. Select your service and upload files
Find the required technology from the home page or your personal dashboard.
- For 3D printing (MJF or FDM): Click on “Online Quote” and then “Upload your 3D model” (supported formats: .STEP, .STP, or .STL) to view the interactive preview.
- For Thermoformed products: Click on “Upload your model.” You can upload individual files or a .ZIP archive (up to 500 pieces) directly into the “Upload file” area, or use the external transfer system for larger volumes.
2. Configure technical specifications
Customize your order parameters in the configuration column:
- Materials and finishes: For 3D printing, select options from the menu (e.g., PA 12 HP, TPU, Vapor Smoothing). For thermoforming, specify the number of models uploaded in the archive.
- Scale and requirements: Set the metric converter and confirm the checkboxes regarding tolerances or minimum thicknesses.
3. Define quantity and delivery times
Manage volumes and timelines using the dynamic table:
- Quantity: Select a predefined tier or enter a numerical value. Please note: if you enter a quantity manually, you must click on “Choose a custom quantity” to update the calculation.
- Shipping: Choose between U-Rapid, Business, or Long plans based on your delivery urgency.
- For Thermoformed products: The number of models must be entered manually only when using an external transfer system; with a ZIP archive, the system will automatically calculate the number of models.
4. Notes and confirmation
Add any specific instructions in the “Designer notes” field and click on “Complete your quote”. After entering your billing details, the system will assign a unique number to your quote (e.g., #5269 or #5271), which will remain available for consultation and PDF download in your Personal Area.

Are the shipping dates in the quote real and reliable?
The shipping date displayed on the quote is effective only if the payment (and therefore the completion of the order) takes place on the same working day as the quote itself. Any day of delay in payment will result in the postponement of one day in the date of shipment.
In order for us to meet the shipping date, we recommend that you complete your order and payment on the same day.

How long does it take to complete an order?
The time required to complete an order can vary from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the type of processing required and the method chosen.
We’ve optimized the process to be quick, intuitive, and fully digital.
- In the case of automatic quotation, once the parameters have been selected and the payment completed during checkout, the order is considered confirmed and visible in your user area.
- In the case of an RFQ request, the order is considered completed after receiving the personalized quotation (generally valid for 30 days) and making the payment.
In both cases, you will receive confirmation via email and you can track your order directly from your profile.
